The i88s uses information from Global Positioning Satellites orbiting the Earth to determine the approximate geographical location of your digital cellular phone (expressed in latitude and longitude) which can be displayed on the digital cellular phone's screen. When you make a 911 Emergency call, the GPS feature can help emergency personnel locate you if the digital cellular phone has adequate GPS satellite signals and your emergency response center is equipped to process such information.
